Most people come to Namaste for the incredible food—and rightfully so—but for me, it was the exceptional service that truly made the experience unforgettable. A particular highlight was our server, a tall and gracious gentleman I believe is named Briyani. Not only was he warm and attentive, but his charisma and professionalism rival that of the best fine-dining establishments I’ve visited around the world. From the moment we sat down, he made us feel welcome, guiding us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm and thoughtful recommendations. His presence alone elevated the entire experience. As for the food—absolutely outstanding. Each dish felt like a journey to the heart of South India. The spicy chicken masala dosa was perfectly crisp and bursting with flavor, and the mango lassi was the ideal sweet and creamy balance to the heat of the spices. Every bite was memorable, and every flavor felt authentic and thoughtfully prepared. Namaste is a gem, both for its cuisine and its people. I’ll absolutely be returning—and not just for the food.

Visited Namaste Exeter last night and was blown away by the authentic Indian flavours! Started with the perfectly spiced Chicken 65 and crunchy Gobi Manchurian, both deliciously complemented by a chilled Kingfisher beer. The Dosa was crisp, airy, and perfectly golden, offering a delightful crunch with every bite. The Paneer Masala was rich and creamy, bursting with the flavours of Indian spices. The highlight of the evening was the mouthwatering Kadai Chicken, paired with soft, flaky Parottas that practically melted in the mouth. The warm ambiance and attentive service made the experience even more memorable. If you're in Exeter craving genuine Indian cuisine, Namaste Exeter is the place to be for a true culinary delight!

We ordered Masala Dosa, Chicken curry and some food, the chicken curry tastes good especially Masala Dosa when you taste it is crispy meanwhile you can also use this to taste the curry sauce. Finally the service was good, the price was reasonable. Namaste Exeter I recommend it.

The chilli cauliflower chicken was as good as any starter I've ever tasted in an Indian restaurant; and my main course (and the restaurant's speciality) dosa dish was huge. When we ate in there the restaurant was full of Indian families enjoying their food, which would imply how authentic the cuisine is. Friendly staff, and in and out a little over an hour after first arriving. Perfect!

I had dinner with friends here a few days ago and it was lovely. There were different Indian food options, other than the popular biryani, and vegetarian options. The portions were large, and the food tasted good. We all enjoyed our different meals. The waiters at the restaurant were cheerful and happy to answer our questions and/or meet our requests. The venue is family-friendly.

Brilliant food that is good value and great service. It is by far the best chicken biryani we have ever had and the dosa was also very tasty. The service was very good, the only thing would be that the tables were very close together so it felt as though you were on top of other tables a bit. Overall, a brilliant and unique restaurant in the areas.

Namaste Exeter - great atmosphere, outstanding food ,wonderful service and overall a happy customer worth every cent spent here. Initially had second thoughts going to this place since the ambience didn’t look that great on pics but I think this was the best pick among all other Indian restaurants in Exeter. We went out with a large group so ordered all the favourites from the menu and there wasn’t a single item I would rate below 4.8 stars food is so fresh , tasty to our liking and top it all the food came out quickly and service was so brilliant. This place is highly recommended if you enjoy South Indian food .
